Physical Therapy Coordinated Degree Program Agreement
Augustana College offers a 3 + 2.5 Doctor of Physical Therapy program with St. Ambrose University in the Quad Cities. In the program, students complete a three-year sequence of coursework including biology, chemistry and kinesiology before continuing at St. Ambrose.
- Anatomy and Physiology (both with labs) is a prerequisite for application to the SAU Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and must be completed after high school graduation at a college or university.
- Anatomy and Physiology courses completed as dual enrollment during high school will no longer meet the prerequisite requirements for the SAU DPT Program.
- Students may still choose to take Anatomy and Physiology in high school for foundational preparation; however, they will be required to complete the course again in college to be eligible to apply to the DPT program.
