Exercise Physiology Coordinated Degree Program Agreement
Augustana College and St. Ambrose University (SAU) offer a cooperative program that allows students to matriculate to St. Ambrose University's Master of Science in Exercise Physiology (MSEP) program.
Academic requirements
- Students who will have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a 3.25 GPA or higher in their Kinesiology and overall coursework are eligible to apply for admission to the Master of Science in Exercise Physiology at SAU.
- SAU will transfer up to eight credits from the undergraduate classwork listed below to satisfy specific course requirements for the MSEP. Students must earn a "C" or higher in any courses to transfer.
- KINS 330 Biomechanics (KIN 410 Biomechanics)
- KIN 380 Special Topics (KIN 460 Special Topics)
- BIO 358 Neuroanatomy (KIN 460 Special Topics)
- SAU will waive the GRE requirement for admission to the program.
- Students must complete all prerequisite and admissions requirements, with the exception of the GRE requirement as noted on the St. Ambrose University website.
- Students must complete the Bachelor of Arts degree prior to starting coursework at St. Ambrose University.
Admission requirements
- Students participating in this agreement should apply to SAU for acceptance by Jan. 31 of each year. Additional applicants will be considered if space allows.
- Students with less than a 3.25 GPA may apply for consideration of transfer of coursework and admission to the program.
- Students must submit an official transcript noting the completed coursework, all pre-requisite coursework and degree awarded prior to beginning classes at SAU.
