During January term (J-term), Augustana students take a step back from their usual 15-week semester schedule to engage in a month-long period of concentrated, in-depth learning — in classes on campus or another country.

Augustana College recognizes the Class of 2024
The commencement address was given by Dr. Lisa Durant-Jones, who served as Augustana's interim vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion during the 2023-2024 academic year. Viet Bui '24, an engineering physics and computer science double major from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was the featured student speaker.

The breadth of a liberal arts education was on full display at the Augustana College Celebration of Learning, where students and faculty presented their academic work for the year.
Upsala College (East Orange, N.J.) records, 1893-1995
Upsala College was a Swedish-American college, founded by the Augustana Synod, in East Orange, New Jersey form 1893 to 1995. The records largely consist of papers of the presidents and other administrative offices. Also contains some faculty publications, records of student organizations, photographs and scrapbooks depicting campus life and some audiovisual materials.
