Hours and Contact Information
Regular hours: When classes are in session, the Special Collections reading room is open to the public Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. During academic breaks and over the summer, the reading room is open Monday through Thursday from 1:00-4:30 p.m.

To inquire about accessing materials outside of our open hours, please contact us well in advance of your planned research visit. Appointments are not available on weekday evenings or weekends. Priority for private appointments will be given to current Augustana College students and faculty.
Special Collections welcomes inquiries about our materials, Augustana history, and topics related to our collections. You do not have to be a member of the Augustana community in order to use or inquire about our resources.
In person: Special Collections is located on the first floor of the Thomas Tredway Library. Walk-in visits to view items of interest are welcome. Our open hours are listed above.
