Bishop Joseph N. Perry of the Archdiocese of Chicago will join Sunday Mass at Augustana.

After Mass, a social time with refreshments will be held.

Dr. Kimberly La Palm, assistant professor of Scandinavian studies, will present "No Snitching in G-Byen: Medieval Scandinavian Cities", a look at the development of urban spaces and civic culture across medieval Scandinavia.

Heywire holiday comedy special

Students are invited to attend Augustana's improv troupe, Heywire, for a holiday-themed show. The show will have special guest openers, Outside The Box. 

Summer Student Research Fellowship info session

Students of all disciplines are invited to an informational session regarding Summer Student Research Fellowships. These scholarships support student research and creative activities under the guidance of a faculty member during the summer, typically for a five-ten week project. 

Campus health focus groups

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in a focus group to provide feedback about a proposed health promotion program, hosted by students from PUBH 350: Health Behavior & Health Promotion.  

Live music — Erin Larkin

Come to PepsiCo before the blacklight dodgeball tournament to hear sophomore Erin Larkin perform live. 

Erin is involved in cheer, choir, Sigma Alpha Iota and Zeta Phi Kappa. She is from Chicago, Ill., and is majoring in music and psychology.

Reception for Allen Bertsche

Colleagues are invited to a reception for Allen Bertsche, who is leaving Augustana after 21 years as assistant professor, chair of Spanish and director of international programs.

Masterclass: Chadley Ballantyne

Guest artist Chadley Ballantyne will offer a masterclass. 

He is an assistant professor of music at Stetson University with a specialization in voice acoustics and voice pedagogy.
