Spring enrollment at Augustana College

We welcome new first-year, transfer and international students to enroll in our Spring Semester at Augustana, which begins the first week of February.

Spring admissions dates and deadlines

Apply by November 1 to receive an admissions decision by November 15.

Non-refundable tuition deposit is due by December 1.

First-year students

New first-year students may apply as degree-seeking for spring semester. Apply as a first-year student if you're a current high school student or have no college coursework.

Transferring to Augustana mid-year

Current college students interested in transferring from a community college or other four-year college or university are welcome in the spring semester. We offer the convenience of reviewing a student’s application using in-progress grades for course work underway during the fall semester. Please provide updated grades at the time of application. No need to wait until the semester is complete to apply.

J-term Jumpstart

Augustana College offers a pre-enrollment opportunity for mid-year transfer and new first-year students who are admitted for spring semester. Students enrolling for the first time at mid-year may arrive on campus and move into campus housing in early January in order to experience campus life and audit a 3.5-week J-term course—all before the start of spring semester in February.

The J-term Jumpstart has a flat $820 fee, which covers housing, a full meal plan, class auditing and campus activities.

Participants can:

Participate in campus activities, including varsity athletic practice if you are a varsity athlete.
Transition to college life over the 3.5-week J-term, before things get busier during spring semester.
