Applications and documents are imported into our system daily, and no application is reviewed until all required documents are received.
In addition to the application, Augustana requires an official high school transcript, a secondary school report, and an ACT or SAT score (or test-optional materials). Official score reports are not required until a student enrolls at Augustana. Submitting a recommendation letter from a teacher is optional.
Some high schools include a standard school profile with each transcript. However, the secondary school report we require is a separate document that asks your high school counselor to answer questions specifically about you. You can download a blank school report.
Students who apply test-optional are required to have a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA or higher, and must complete an admissions interview. If you choose to apply test-optional, you may indicate that in your application. Test-optional is not available for international applicants.
We frequently reach out to students before we make a final admissions decision. Check your email and answer your phone if you see someone from Augustana (usually area code 309) is trying to reach you.
Early decision and early action applicants must complete an application and submit required documents by Nov. 1. The regular decision application deadline is April 1.
Admission and scholarship notification dates are: early decision, Nov. 15; early action, Dec. 20; and regular decision, rolling admission beginning in early January.
