Black Student Union 50th anniversary celebration

Alumni celebrated the 50th anniversary of Augustana’s Black Student Union during Homecoming weekend, Oct. 5-7, 2018. Events included a barbecue, panel discussion and anniversary celebration.

Augustana will present "The Children’s Hour,"  a 1934 play by Lillian Hellman set in a girls' boarding school run by two women. Performances will be Dec. 6-9.

Education in America: Myths and Realities

This course is designed for student interested in teaching as a career, or who are curious about our rapidly changing urban school systems. Participants will have a chance to do some informal teaching at the local Boys and Girls Club.

GM: Greek Mythology to Marketing

In this course you will develop in-depth insights into innovative marketing science, consumer strategies and learn to appreciate the impact Greek mythology has on modern-day business. Program dates: June 16-18, 2019
