Environmental studies information table
Students interested in environmental studies are invited to meet faculty members in the program from 10 a.m.-noon Feb. 20 in the Brew. They will answer any questions about the program and sign major/minor declaration forms. Enjoy a doughnut/cinnamon roll at the same time!

Movie night — Knives Out
Students are invited by the Office of Student Life to attend a screening of Knives Out. There will be a repeat screening on Friday, February 21st at 7 and 10 p.m.
Time Management for the Stressed Augie Student
Yen Dao is the director of student success services, Learning Commons. Dao will be offering workshops on time management, stress reduction and goal-setting.
This event is part of an ongoing semester series of well-being labs offered by Student Counseling and the Learning Commons.
African American Read-In
Augustana College will be a host site for the 2020 African American Read-In, a collaboration with the Black Student Union, Office of Student Life, the Tredway Library, and the Reading/Writing Center.
All are invited to join the celebration of African American literature by reading or stopping by from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Genres vary widely from musical performances, to poetry slams, to favorite works by African American authors. The only stipulation is that all works must be by African American writers.
Anyone who would like to share a presentation is encouraged to sign up.
The National African American Read-In is the nation’s first and oldest event dedicated to diversity in literature. It was established in 1990 by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month.

The Augustana Astronomy Club will meet in the John Deere Lecture Hall, followed by telescope viewing in the Carl Gamble Observatory (connected to John Deere Planetarium).
The Astronomy Club is open to all Augustana students, faculty, and staff who are interested in the night sky. Regular meetings happen in the John Deere Lecture hall, followed by telescope viewing in the Carl Gamble Observatory (weather permitting).
