Rugby match
The Augustana Rugby Club will play its first home match of the season.
The club competes across Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska.
Comedy Club: Priyanka Wali
The Multicultural Programing Board's Comedy Club will present stand-up comic Priyanka Wali.
Named by Refinery29 as one of "50 Female Stand-Up Comedians You Need To Know," Wali also happens to be a board-certified practicing physician.
The first 25 people at the show will get a free MPB Comedy Club water bottle. There also will be raffles and free food at the show.
Muslim Student Association Friday prayer
The Muslim Student Association will hold its weekly Jummah prayer service. All are welcome.
The khuthbah (sermon) will start at 1 p.m. and prayer will start at 1:20 p.m.
Services are held here at this time every Friday through May 7.
Prayer will be conducted with COVID-19 restrictions. The maximum capacity is 25 people on first come, first served basis.

The Augustana Local Agriculture Society (Augie Acres) will meet. All are invited to come and learn about the group's activities, including Augie Acres, and plans for the year.

Society for Anthropology and Sociology Students
The Society for Anthropology and Sociology Students will discuss plans for the rest of this semester, including a sociology/anthropology-themed bingo and opportunities to partner with local organizations to carry out a group service project.
Snacks will also be provided.
Communication studies and journalism open house
The departments of communication studies and multimedia journalism invite interested students to an open house from 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Meet professors, ask questions and learn more about the programs. Students may choose to fill out a major or minor declaration form.
Lunch will be provided.
Safezone: "Issues in Trans and Genderqueer Healthcare."
Christine Harb '15 will lead the program "Issues in Trans and Genderqueer Healthcare."
Harb received a master's in public health from the University of Iowa in 2017. She is a student doctor at at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Kirksville, Mo.
Safe Zone is an initiative through the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program at Augustana College to help make the campus a safer and more affirming place for LGBTQ+ students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
Student panel discussion — "Whose History?"
Students are invited to a special student-led panel by students majoring in political science. The topic for this discussion will be on Black History Month.
