Global Connections

The Office of International Student Life invites students to get acquainted through Global Connections. Tonight's gathering will include some "corny" and fun activities. The goal is to connect American and international students 

Refreshments will be served.

Augustana to present 'The Children’s Hour'

Augustana will present "The Children’s Hour,"  a 1934 play by Lillian Hellman set in a girls' boarding school run by two women. Performances will be Dec. 6-9.

Quad City Symphony Youth Ensembles Concerto Competition

Youth Symphony Orchestra members perform solo concertos to win one of two concerto prizes.

Senior recital — Jared Pector, voice

Jared Pector will be performing a vocal recital. He is a senior from Naperville, Ill., majoring in vocal music education.

Tea Talks: Black/Queer Intersections

The Women's & Gender Studies Tea Talks series features faculty, staff and guest speakers on a range of topics. Today's talk will be by Simone Roby, fellowship instructor of psychology, on "Black/Queer Intersections."

Hypnotism by Frederick Winters

Hypnotist Frederick Winters will be on campus Saturday in the Gävle rooms. Free hot chocolate will be provided.

Holiday cookie decorating

Students are invited to meet the sisters of Sigma Kappa Tau for some holiday cheer! There will be a screening of elf and free hot chocolate while student decorate Christmas cookies. Christmas sweaters are encouraged.

Black Squirrel Film Productions meeting

Black Squirrel Film Productions will hold its first meeting of the term. All are invited to bring their ideas, films and screenplays. The group will discuss plans for the rest of the year and show some films.
