LGBTQIA+

Augustana College is home to a diverse, vibrant, and engaged community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA+), and allied students, staff, and faculty. Many LGBTQIA+ and allied people have found the campus and surrounding community an ideal place to learn, work, and live.

The Office of Student Cultural Connection actively fosters the academic success and personal growth of LGBTQIA+ students, and it offers college-wide services to enhance the campus community's understanding and appreciation of LGBTQIA+ people and themes.

On campus

Campus-wide efforts are focused on the continuous progress of LGBTQIA+ policies and programming. Multiple offices and departments across campus collaborate to assess existing inclusive policies and identify areas of opportunity to expand programming while strengthening partnerships with community organizations. Below are some available campus resources.
