Tiffany '04 finds her mission in tracking Ebola
Amanda Tiffany '04 was profiled in the Winter 2015 issue of Augustana College magazine about her work fighting the dead Ebola outbreak in 2014. This summer she has returned to Africa to continue her work, traveling between Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia to evaluate the impact of safe and dignified burial on controlling the Ebola epidemic.
American Union of Swedish Singers records
The American Union of Swedish Singers (AUSS) was organized in 1892 to serve as a national umbrella organization for individual Swedish choirs in the United States. The Union’s first festival was during the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. Over the years, the Union has performed for kings and presidents and sung in significant performance halls.

The $11.2 million transformation of Bergendoff Hall is complete. Students and faculty are taking advantage of the new and updated spaces, including Larson Hall, the piano lab, ensemble rehearsal hall, practice rooms, Hamann Concert Hall and more.

Vikings and opera – beyond the cliché
Athleticism and the arts are a natural at Augustana, especially in opera. Football lineman Spencer Warfield ’23 and fencer Soryn Richter ’26 take the stage in “Amahl and the Night Visitors” on April 21 and 23.
