Augustana’s Dr. David Ellis, professor of history, and Kai Swanson ’86 will help lead the tour, which follows the life of Martin Luther (1483-1546), a German professor of theology, composer, priest and a seminal figure in the Protestant Reformation.

Augustana’s John Deere Planetarium to host solar eclipse viewing
The event will feature safe telescope and naked-eye views of the partial eclipse of the sun from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14. Free indoor and outdoor programs in the planetarium, observatory and geology museum are planned.
