Jenny Lind Chapel Committee (Andover, Ill.) records

The Jenny Lind Chapel Committee is concerned with the operation, programs, and preservation of the Jenny Lind Chapel in Andover, Illinois. The Chapel is the “mother church” of the Augustana Synod and of Swedish-American Lutheranism, established by Lars Paul Esbjörn in 1950. Many of the materials in this collection came from Dr. Conrad Bergendoff, Birger Swenson, and Hortense Lindorff.

Luther Academy (Wahoo, Neb.) records, 1883-1950

Luther Academy was founded in 1883 in Wahoo, Nebraska. Samuel Magnus Hill served as acting president and helped shape the history of the school. This collection includes meeting minutes for the board of the Academy, two student groups, and of several meetings of the Nebraska Conference of the Augustana Synod. Also included are news articles related to the school, correspondence with presidents and reports of the Nebraska Conference, and some student and religious writings.

The Augustana College Written Information Security Policy (“WISP”) is intended as a set of comprehensive guidelines and policies designed to safeguard confidential and restricted data maintained at the College, and to comply with applicable laws and regulations on the protection of Personal Information and Nonpublic Financial Information, as those terms are defined below, found in records and in systems owned by the College.
