Augustana offers a major and minor in communication studies. The department also has a related major and minor in multimedia journalism and mass communication. A major for teaching speech communication-language arts in housed in the Department of Education.
Theatre arts scholarships
Augustana College awards scholarships each year to students who plan to remain active in theatre at the college level. Scholarships are for performance, musical theatre, design and technology, and dramaturgy.
Music scholarships
Music scholarships are offered for students in performance (instrumental, piano, voice), composition, and music education (instrumental and vocal).
Art and graphic design scholarships
Merit-based scholarships are offered in studio art, graphic design, and art education. Students do not need to major or minor in these subjects to qualify.
