Why we think Augustana is the perfect size

The mission of the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship (CELTS) is to foster practices that promote transformational learning experiences at Augustana. By cultivating opportunities for collaboration, development, and reflection, CELTS seeks to help educators develop purpose-filled careers as teachers, scholars, and mentors.
Some departments may provide regular performance appraisals. The purpose of a student employment performance appraisal is to evaluate and assess the job performance, skills, achievements, and growth of student employees.
Ask yourself: What need does this position fill? What skills or qualifications are needed for someone to succeed in the role? A thoughtful job analysis will help ensure your description is accurate, aligned, and effective.
The offices of the Dean of Students and Police and Public Safety publish an annual crime report. A daily log of reported crimes is maintained by the Office of Police and Public Safety and is available weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Police and Public Safety Dispatch Center on the ground floor of Sorensen Hall, 639 38th St., Rock Island, Ill.
Four Augustana students spent a week in Washington, D.C., this summer for a career leadership immersion supported by the college’s Bahls Institute for Leadership and Service. The initiative connects students with alumni professionals and introduces them to possible career paths in the nation’s capital.
