Representing Augustana College at the ASIANetwork conference was an unforgettable experience. I connected with scholars, peers and fellow students about the interdisciplinary conversations surrounding Asia.

As an international student coming to the United States for the first time to attend college, I faced a mix of excitement and anxiety when I first arrived at Augustana College — especially about living in a new country with new people.

The Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) is one of several Asian organizations we have on campus at Augustana. Our organization allows for the celebration and awareness of Vietnamese culture through the leadership of current students, such as myself and others.
