After months of planning, crocheting and assembling, Augustana College will unveil its public art project, known as #YarnbombQC. There will be short remarks and a celebration of everyone who participated.
Yarn bomb crochet workshop
Community members can learn to crochet and contribute to a public "yarn bomb" art project in October.
Where the Beer Flowed Like Wine: Beer and Brewing in Bronze Age Mesopotamia
Tate Paulette, assistant professor of history at North Carolina State University, will speak on "Beer and Brewing in Bronze Age Mesopotamia.” His lecture is sponsored by the Archaeological Institute of America and Augustana.
The Reading/Writing Center
The Reading/Writing Center (RWC), located in Gerber 423, provides all Augustana students the opportunity for one-on-one instruction and advice on their writing, reading and other academic skills.

Dr. David Krueger, author of "Myths of the Rune Stone: Viking Martyrs and the Birthplace of America," will present the 28th annual lecture O. Fritiof Ander Lecture.
