Teagle Foundation awards $225,000 grant to Augustana

A Cornerstone: Learning for Living implementation grant from The Teagle Foundation builds on progress the college is making to redesign its general education curriculum. The end goal is to create a cohesive, engaging experience for students — from their first year on campus and into their lives beyond college.

From Aug. 14 to Oct. 3, 2025, Quad City Arts will present ceramic sculpture by Lori Roderick, Augustana's associate vice president of development; woven tapestries by Rowen Schussheim, professor emerita of art; and abstract paintings by Zaiga Minka Thorson.

Blessing of the Graduates: A Baccalaureate

The Blessing of the Graduates: A Baccalaureate is a service for graduates.

Graduates are invited to wear their caps and gowns and sit with their families and friends.

Senior Departmental Honors Convocation

This event honors students selected for special honors awarded by the various academic and administrative departments on campus. Honorees will receive an invitation from Academic Affairs. Family and friends are welcome to attend. No tickets are required.
