Applying to Augustana early

If you know Augustana is the college for you

Early Decision: Early Decision applicants who complete the admission application, submit required application materials (official high school transcript and secondary school report), complete an admissions interview and file the FAFSA by Nov. 15 will receive an admissions and scholarship decision by Dec. 1 and financial aid package no later than Dec. 1.

The tuition deposit deadline for Early Decision is Dec. 15.

This is a binding commitment recommended for students who are sure to enroll if accepted. Students who choose to apply Early Decision must complete the Early Decision Agreement Form. This form is part of both the Common Application and the Augustana Application. Tuition deposits are due Dec. 20.

Note: If you already have applied Early Action or Regular Decision but would like to change to Early Decision, you may do so by Nov. 1. Email for more information.

(Transfer students and international students may not apply for Early Decision.)

If you're still considering a variety of colleges, consider these options from Augustana:

Early Action: Complete your application by Nov. 15 to receive an admissions decision by Dec. 20 and financial aid decision by Feb. 15. Tuition deposits are due May 1.

A student will automatically qualify for the $750 Early Filers Award if the FAFSA is submitted to Augustana by Nov. 15. 

Regular Decision: Complete your application by April 1. Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis starting in early January. Financial aid decisions are sent on a rolling basis beginning in early February. Tuition deposits are due May 1.
