
Sankta Lucia lights up the holiday despite pandemic
The annual Sankta Lucia Festival at Augustana College will premiere on video beginning at 6 a.m. Dec. 13.

This year's O. Fritiof Ander Lecture in Immigration History will focus on the 19th century Swedish divas Jenny Lind and Christina Nilsson.
Akvavit Theatre of Chicago will perform staged readings from two plays Feb. 20 at Augustana. The company focuses on Nordic and Scandinavian works.
Dr. Anders Bo Rasmussen will give a talk, ""An End to All Questions": Scandinavian Immigrants, Abolition, and the Impeachment of President Johnson."
Dr. Rasmussen is an associate professor of US history at the University of Southern Denmark.
