Augustana spring picnic
As we wrap up another successful academic year, we're excited to invite you to our last-day-of-class food truck picnic, a fun and delicious way to celebrate the end of the year together!
Sloughfest
Sloughfest is Augustana’s annual spring celebration, part concert, part festival, all fun! It’s a campus tradition where students come together to enjoy live music, food trucks, games, and entertainment.
Fiesta Night
Join us on May 8th from 7-10 p.m. in the Quad for Fiesta Night!
Mariachi Monumental de Mexico will be performing with the QC Ballet Folklorico Dancers, and a taco truck and drinks will be available. Activities will include maraca decorating, piñata and games.
Late night breakfast
Dining Services will provide a free late night breakfast from 9-11 p.m. Augustana student ID required for admittance.
Nourish to Flourish cooking class
The cooking class integrates hands-on meal preparation with discussions on nutrition, food safety, and available food assistance programs and resources in Rock Island. Participants are encouraged to use campus food resources and the skills they have learned from the class.
Pizza and Purpose: Coach Jordan Delp
Coach Jordan Delp '09 will present "Career + Passion = Vocation." Delp is Augie's men’s basketball head coach, a first-gen college student, an investment analyst turned entrepreneur, and a junior high overnight sports camp survivor.
Latinx Unidos: Quinceañera
Latinx Unidos is excited to host LU Quinceañera, an event that will be both informational and fun, offering the Augustana College community a chance to learn about the rich history and traditions of the Quinceañera celebration.
Pi Day
Augustana Physics and Engineering Society (APES) will be celebrating Pi Day 1-2 p.m. with food, drinks and activities—including a chance for students to "pie" a professor.
Cultural Market Excursion
Join OISSS on our Cultural Market Excursion, where we will make a trip to local international food markets for an opportunity to do some grocery shopping. Bring your list and some grocery bags, as we will take a group to World Food Market, Derby City Grocery and Khai Market.
