Worship gatherings and services

campus ministries day

Wednesday's 8:31 evening gatherings take place at the Anderson Pavilion when weather permits.

Campus gatherings

Sunday, 4 p.m.: Community and Conversation

New this year! Sunday morning worship moves to a Sunday afternoon gathering in Evald

Location: Evald Great Room

This weekly Sunday gathering will feel a little like church, a little like Bible study, and a lot like fellowship with friends. We will gather for an hour to connect, have some faith and Bible conversation, sing and pray just a bit, and then have communion. No need to sign up, just come and bring a friend. Led by college chaplain, Pastor Melinda Pupillo.

Sunday, 5 p.m.: Catholic Mass

Location: Ascension Chapel

Local priests will celebrate Mass in Ascension Chapel.

Interested in Bible study with other Catholic students? Questions? Email John Warhank  or Laurence Pavlik for details.

Second Sunday of the month, 11 a.m.: Festival Worship

Location: Ascension Chapel

Campus Ministries presents Sunday worship with Pastor Melinda Pupillo.

Festival Worship will take place Feb. 11, March 10, April 14, May 12.

Wednesday, 8:31 p.m.: 8:31 Wednesdays

Location: Anderson Pavilion (Sept. and Oct.), Ascension Chapel (rest of the year)

The name 8:31 reflects the time the gathering begins on Wednesday evenings. The gathering offers reflection space, readings, music and prayer. This 30-minute service is informal and a space for both Christians and non-Christians to feel part of community. Romans 8:31 says, "If God is for us, who can be against us." And God IS for you.

8:31 is held outside at the Anderson Pavilion (weather permitting) during September and October. We gather inside (when weather is too cold/rainy) and the rest of the year in the Ascension Chapel, second floor of the Bahls Center. Follow us on Instagram for location updates and other information!
