The reasons alumni and friends of the college choose to give to Augustana are varied. Some are following the example of a family member; others simply want to give back to a place that gave them so much. And others have a desire to help a specific group of students or a meaningful program.

One of the overarching goals of the SWLI is to build life-long partnerships between Augustana College and communities by assisting them in solving high-priority problems.

The annual Celebration of Learning shares and showcases original scholarship and creative work by students, faculty and staff throughout the day. This year's celebration on May 8 includes poster presentations, interactive sessions, panel presentations and special events.
