Leach '83 appointed interim vice president
Augustana has appointed former Tribune executive Tom Leach '83 as interim vice president for finance and administration. Leach will assume his duties in June. David English, the college's current vice president for finance and administration, will leave the college at the end of June for a position at Denison University.

Jim McGrath - Indy Star
Jim McGrath, 65, will retire in June after 34 years at Butler University. After spending 10 years as Augustana's first sports information director, McGrath became Butler's first full-time sports information director. He has been the one constant at Hinkle Fieldhouse as the men's basketball program went from afterthought on the Indianapolis sports scene to a national darling.

Advising
Advising encompasses a student's entire educational experience. While each student has a primary advisor, there also is a network of support, including academic advisors, career counselors, residential life staff, coaches, instructors and peer mentors.
