Sarah Ruhl residency canceled for now

Playwright Sarah Ruhl's residency at Augustana this weekend has been canceled due to illness. Her visit may be rescheduled in the spring.

French Club at the Figge

All are invited to join the French Club for an evening at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport. The group will view the exhibit "Endless Flight" by Haitian-born artist Edouard Duval-Carrie.

Admission is always free for Augustana students and staff.

Students curate college art at Silvis Library

The Augustana Teaching Museum of Art has partnered with the nearby Silvis Public Library to display student-curated exhibits from the museum's collection.

Office of Multicultural Student Life chat

The Office of Multicultural Student Life staff will be available if students have questions, want to know more about the office, or simply want to chat. Please join us if you can! We will end around 4 p.m. 

Faculty discussion

Faculty are invited to discuss sexual assault and Title IX-based responses. The group also will share and think ahead about classroom interactions, how this impacts classes, and share resources and ideas.

Take Care of All of Us: Bringing Survivors' Voices into the Light is an event held to bring awareness to sexual assault.

Susan Glaspell Playwriting Festival

"Eddy's Girls," a play by Emma Brutman '17, will be staged during the Susan Glaspell Playwriting Festival. The play was a finalist in the Local Adult Category.

Brutman's play "The Lilith Play" won the category in 2017. 

Sumo Wrestling Mania

The OSL will be hosting a sumo suit challenge where participants can challenge their closest friends in a sumo battle. There will also be a hotdog eating contest.

Environmental Film Fest

The 13th annual Environmental Film Fest will show a selection of short films and three full-length features, including "An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power" with former Vice President Al Gore.
