Jill Potratz

Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders

Jill Potratz worked as a school-based speech-language pathologist and adjunct instructor in the San Francisco Bay area for many years prior to entering a doctoral program in the Linguistics Department at the University of Oregon.

Her research interests focus on improving assessment methodology for speech intelligibility and language sample analysis, particularly for multilingual children.

Originally from Wisconsin, she is excited to return to her Midwestern roots. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, vegetarian cooking and daily yoga practice.
