MINOR IN CHINESE. 20 credits, including the following:
● Two core language courses: 2 CHNS courses beyond 102 taken on campus (typically CHNS 201, 202)
● One additional CHNS or CHST course: any upper-level CHNS course beyond 202 or any CHST course.
● Two elective courses: any CHNS courses, including CHNS 102 and beyond; any CHST courses, HIST252 (Epic China), HIST350 (Modern China), and POLS318 (China in World Affairs).
Participation in a study abroad in China is strongly recommended. A maximum of 8 credits of coursework taken overseas may count toward the minor.
