Long-Term Disability

The college pays for a long-term disability insurance policy for each full-time employee with at least one year of service. This policy provides, in the event of a qualifying disability prior to retirement, a monthly income of approximately 60 percent of the monthly gross wage, minus benefits from other sources such as Social Security, workers compensation or other disability programs.
