Statistics on crime and sexual violence
In compliance with the Clery Act, colleges and universities receiving federal financial aid are required to make public an annual report of crimes that occur on property owned and controlled by the college. This report is published in October and covers a calendar year. (Example: The report published in October 2025 includes statistics gathered from Jan. 1, 2024, to Dec. 31, 2024.)

In compliance with the Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act, the state of Illinois requires an annual report of crimes that may be a violation of Title IX but may not fall under the Clery Act for a variety of reasons, including geography or the nature of the incident.
This annual report, known as the Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act Annual Report, is required for the Attorney General but is not required to be made public. The Annual Report includes any disclosures that are made to an employee of the college in a calendar year and may include crimes that took place off campus.

Effective January 1, 2025, the Stop Campus Hazing Act requires all institutions of higher education to publish a Campus Hazing Transparency Report. Hazing is prohibited under state law, federal law, and College policy. This report summarizes hazing findings involving any student organization (as defined by Augustana College’s Hazing Policy). When there are new violations, this report is updated at least least twice per year, and the College will maintain the information on its website for five years.
