Penguin Project's 2020 show: 'Lion King Jr.'
Augustana College collaborates each year with The Penguin Project of the Quad Cities to give children with special needs a chance to develop creative skills in the theatre arts. The show for 2020 will be "Lion King Jr." January 24 - February 2 at the Brunner Theatre.

Geifman prize winners announced
Student winners of the yearly Geifman "Responses to the Holocaust" Prize received their awards Monday at the annual Holocaust remembrance talk at Augustana.

Augustana welcomes Class of 2028
The Class of 2028 was selected from across the globe from an unprecedented 9,000+ applications, surpassing last year's record of 8,200 applications. The class includes 677 first-year students and 80 transfer students, from 26 states and 33 countries.
Security reporting
The offices of the Dean of Students and Police and Public Safety publish an annual crime report. A daily log of reported crimes is maintained by the Office of Police and Public Safety and is available weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Police and Public Safety Dispatch Center on the ground floor of Sorensen Hall, 639 38th St., Rock Island, Ill.

The annual Celebration of Learning showcases work by students, faculty and staff at Augustana. This year's celebration on May 7, 2025, includes poster presentations, interactive sessions, panel presentations and special events.
