The Sierra Club will be sponsoring a Ravine Clean-up from 1:30-6:00 p.m. to celebrate Earth Week.

The Augustana chemistry department welcomed visitors of all ages at its annual open house in 2018. Faculty and students performed and explained many different chemistry demonstrations such as explosions and color changes. 

Swenson Center open house and exhibit unveiling

The Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center will host an open house and the unveiling of the new permanent exhibit "Swedish Immigration to North America."

Faculty recital: Patricia Weitzel, double bass; composition premieres

Dr. Patricia Weitzel, assistant professor of music, will perform a recital on double bass, premiering four pieces of music written by Augustana student composers John Briggs, Douglas Ganster, Joshua Iyer and Gabriel Lance.

Car Club Autocross Event

The Augustana Car Club will be hosting an all-day Autocross event in conjunction with SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) of the Great River Region.

Dinner Chat with VP of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion & the Provost

Dr. Monica Smith, the new Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Dr. Gail Summer, the provost, will be available to chat over dinner in the Gerber Center from 5:15-6:15.

College announces $1M beautification fund

President Steve Bahls has pledged $1 million to maintain Augustana's status as one of America's most beautiful college campuses. The three-year campaign, Blue, Gold and Beautiful, was announced Friday.
