Faculty recital: Patricia Weitzel, double bass; composition premieres

Dr. Patricia Weitzel, assistant professor of music, will perform a recital on double bass, premiering four pieces of music written by Augustana student composers John Briggs, Douglas Ganster, Joshua Iyer and Gabriel Lance.

Dr. Colin Kuehl of Northern Illinois University will speak on "Encouraging Conservation: How Smart Messaging Can Reduce Water Use."

He is assistant professor of political science and a member of the Institute for the Study of the Environment, Sustainability, and Energy at NIU.
