Campus update for Aug. 26, 2020

Aug. 26, 2020

Dear students,

Things to keep in mind as you prepare to return:

important covid info

→ If you have received a positive COVID test, do not return to campus. Notify the college by calling 309-794-7700.

→ If you have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell), do not travel to campus.

→ Don't travel to campus with someone who is sick. And don't come to campus if you have been around someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

→ If you are traveling internationally, you will be required to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. The Office of Residential Life is making these arrangements.

→ You're encouraged (not required) to get a COVID-19 test before coming to campus. And a flu shot.

→ If you are living in college housing, bring whatever supplies you will need to stay on campus until Sept. 14.

Here is what to do if you think you may have COVID-19.

move-in crew

Welcome new students! Move-in is happening. Some things look different (masks) but the loads of boxes and tubs look familiar. Returning students, we will see you this weekend.
