Prior to joining Augustana’s advancement team, she served at Carl Sandburg College, where she led the college’s grantmaking efforts. In her tenure at Sandburg, she secured over $7 million in external funding to support student access to higher education, regional economic development, specialized learning pathways, faculty and staff development, assessment of student learning, and local entrepreneurship.

At Augustana, Taylor works with college leadership to research funding sources, develop grant concepts and applications, and secure financial support for the college’s strategic priorities. Her work is based on a passionate commitment to meaningful student success and long-term community impact. She is a member of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) and is working toward a GPC certification.

Taylor resides in Aledo with her husband and four sons. When she’s not on campus, Taylor can usually be found taking walks accompanied by history podcasts, shuttling children to various sporting events, reading fiction, or obsessing over the Buffalo Bills.
