The college's annual holiday planetarium show, "Season of Light," uses images, video, animation and sound to tell the story of how holiday traditions are connected to the sky above. Admission is free, but reservations are required.
Augustana's John Deere Planetarium and Fryxell Geology Museum will be open to the public on Saturday, Nov. 1, for the annual Fall Open House. The planetarium and geology museum will be open 7-8:30 p.m., with indoor and outdoor programs. There is no charge for admission.
Jessica Cotturone ’25 received the Chambliss Award at the 245th American Astronomical Society meeting. The award recognizes Cotturone's work through the CIERA Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at Northwestern University.
