Virtual Lucia and other Nordic events

The annual Sankta Lucia festival will be virtual this year due to the pandemic, and there are many Nordic virtual events. An early December date will be announced.

Some of these events are free and others involve a fee, but as most of them are put on by Scandinavian-American organizations that have had to close their doors to visitors, consider participating in the fee-based events as well.  

To get the Lucia experience this year, consider the American Swedish Institute's Virtual Lucia Celebration Concert on Dec. 13.
