Open enrollment Nov. 3-14

Open enrollment for 2026 benefits has officially started and will remain open until Friday, Nov. 14, 2025. This is your annual opportunity to review and update your benefit elections.

You will need to make your benefit elections in Paycor as you did last year. Some of the key changes that you will see are an increase of premiums to medical plans on all tiers, increase to medical deductibles/out of pocket maximums on both plans, increase in dental premiums and the introduction of a new hospital indemnity plan for 2026.

What you need to do

  • Review your current benefits and consider any changes for 2026.
  • Mark your calendar for open enrollment.

IMPORTANT: Action is required. If you are benefit-eligible, you are required to log in and make your benefit elections for the upcoming year, even if you do not intend on making changes, don't currently participate in our benefit plans or if you don't intend on enrolling in our plans.

Open enrollment drop-in sessions

The Human Resources office will also be hosting drop-in sessions, where members of the HR team will be available to help with your enrollment in Paycor. If you have benefit questions, we encourage you to attend one of those sessions as we'll be staffed to specifically assist our community. 

  • Tuesday, Nov. 4: 9-11 a.m. in Olin 109
  • Thursday, Nov. 6: 9-11 a.m. in Gerber 422 (fishbowl)
  • Friday, Nov. 7: 1-4 p.m. in Gerber 422 (fishbowl)
  • Monday, Nov. 10: 1-4 p.m. in Gerber 422 (fishbowl)
  • Thursday, Nov. 13: 1-4 p.m. in Gerber 422 (fishbowl)
  • Friday, Nov. 14: 1-4 p.m. in Gerber 422 (fishbowl)

Note that this schedule has been updated, as the HR team has made modifications to the reserved spaces.

Retirement plan

If you are contributing less than 10% to your retirement plan, your contribution will increase by 1% on Jan. 1st due to our auto-escalation feature. If you would like to opt out of this feature, please complete the opt out form, sign and return it to Payroll or Human Resources. This form must be received no later than Dec. 1, 2025. Keep in mind that you can make changes to your contributions anytime during the year by filling out a change form.

How to enroll

If you are benefit-eligible, you are required to complete your enrollment in Paycor, regardless of whether you are making changes to your benefits.

  1. Log in to Paycor and click on the person icon at the top of the right corner. Select "Benefit elections," and you should see your open enrollment prompt.
  2. Review your personal information (including physical address and email), family information, and make your benefit elections and/or updates to your current elections.
  3. Retirement reminder: If you are contributing less than 10% to your retirement plan, your contribution will increase by 1% on Jan. 1, 2026, unless you complete the opt out form.
  4. Submit your elections by Nov. 14, 2025. Please note that you will not be able to make changes to your benefit elections after the end of open enrollment unless you have a qualifying life event.
