'The Dining Room'

A.R. Gurney’s "The Dining Room" follows a collection of interrelated stories of American families spanning eight decades, taking place in different dining rooms. Some stories are funny, some touching, and some rueful. The cast will change characters between scenes, ranging from kids to grandparents, with 56 characters being split among six performers. Hopefully, by the end you see yourself in a few of the characters. This theatre experience will bring out remarkable range, witty humor, and profuse humanity. Directed by Christian Haywood '27.
