Hispanic Film Festival: Una Mujer Fantástica (A Fantastic Woman)

Augustana College will present "Una Mujer Fantástica" (A Fantastic Woman) as the final film in its 24th annual Hispanic Film Festival.

This 2017 drama was selected as the Chilean entry for the Best Foreign Language Film, where it won in the 90th Academy Awards. A young transgender woman loses her older boyfriend to a brain aneurysm, and then encounters suspicion and hostility from his family and the authorities while she tries to grieve.

Rated R, the film runs one hour, 40 minutes.

Films are free and open to the public.
