Cabaret Night will feature non-classical performances of music under the theme of "From Darkness to Light."

Jazz Combos concert

Augustana Jazz Combos will perform their final concert of the year. Combo 1 will reimagine the works of Steely Dan.  Combo 2 will present music from the Beatles and several arrangements of Michael Buble's stylings. 

Bethany Hobart, trombone

Bethany Hobart will perform a  recital on the trombone. She is a senior from Round Lake, Ill., majoring in geology and instrumental music performance.

Augustana Jazz Combos concert

Augustana's two jazz combos will perform some selections from the Blue Note era of jazz with vocalist Teddy Barber on some numbers made famous by Frank Sinatra. The concert also will feature adaptions of Billy Joel's music.

Colere Quartet saxophone recital

The Colere Quartet will perform a saxophone recital. The ensemble includes John Cummins, an instructor of music at Augustana.

Phi Mu Alpha and Sigma Alpha Iota benefit recital for ALS

The members of Phi Mu Alpha and Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternities will perform a recital to benefit the ALS Association.

Laura Anderson '07, who's found success in Nashville, will speak on campus before performing at Davenport's Redstone Room.
