Language placement tests for new students

Instructions: Have your student ID number ready. Use a laptop or desktop computer to take the placement test. (If you use a phone or tablet, we may not receive your responses.) Do your best work, but do not get help or use other resources to complete the test. If you do, you may be placed in a class that is too advanced. You may be retested in a proctored setting when you come to campus.

Chinese

You can check your placement (please allow three business days) by logging in to Arches and choosing "Check your placement scores." At Orientation and Registration, you’ll learn more about your language requirements and options.
