Augustana College’s campus is closed Monday, March 16, due to weather conditions. This includes all athletic and evening activities, PepsiCo Recreation Center and Thomas Tredway Library.
Dining services will remain open on a regular schedule.
New international students should plan to arrive at Augustana College Jan. 29-30, 2026, for the spring semester.
If you’re arriving during the designated move-in dates, here’s what to expect:
Below is where you’ll meet our team based on your mode of travel. There will be visible signage at each location to direct you:
9 a.m.-5 p.m. | Arrival and orientation check-in
Swanson Commons (1010 38th Street, Rock Island, IL)
If you are arriving by airplane at the Moline airport or by bus, transportation will be provided to campus by the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS). Transportation will be available outside the check-in hours, depending on flight and bus arrivals. For those arriving by car, please plan to check in between 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
OISSS staff will be available to assist with check-in and answer any questions. During check-in, students will receive their orientation folder, room key, student ID, and meal card, which provides access to meals in the campus dining hall during orientation. After check-in, transportation will be provided for those arriving by plane and bus to take students to their assigned residence halls.
