Welcome back! Here is what's new

Sept. 1, 2022

Welcome back, Vikings!

A lot has been happening this summer. Here is what's new:

β€’ The Viking Esports Center is open in Brunner. Thorson-Lucken Field has new turf and PepsiCo has a new track.

β€’ The remodeling of Bergendoff continues apace. Some people have moved temporarily, so give yourself some extra time to find your way around.

β€’ Our beautiful Wallenberg Hall has had a facelift (new paint and plaster).

β€’ We are welcoming some cool new faculty.

🧱 Tredway Library is very into Legos β€” check it out. Also, the library has added computers to four study rooms and now is handling technology available for checkout.

β€’ Counseling Services' TimelyCare will begin a peer support initiative next month.

πŸŽ‰ And last but not least, we are gearing up for President Talentino's inauguration on Oct. 15!

Adventures abroad

Dozens of Vikings experienced a new culture during spring semester and this summer. By connecting with other students, immersing themselves in a new country and taking a leap of faith, these Vikings broadened their perspectives and made lifelong memories. Some of them include, from the left, golfers Kelsey O’Connor, Avery Frick, Grace Loverde and Paige Breslin in St. Andrews, on Scotland's east coast.
