Campus update for Oct. 26, 2020

Oct. 26, 2020

If you are considering graduate school, sign up!

This Wednesday you have the opportunity to talk with the representatives of more than 100 graduate programs. The I-74 Graduate and Professional School Fair will be a one-day virtual event from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Register, pick your schools and sign up for group and one-on-one sessions.

Juniors and seniors can ask about the admissions process. What does this school look for in candidates? What is the typical day like for its graduate students?

First-year students and sophomores can find out what to study in the future, and what activities could make them more competitive.

Scams happen. Don't let them happen to you.

Some tips from Campus Security and the Better Business Bureau:

→ Never pay with a gift card or wire transfer, especially to someone you don't know.

→ If you sell an item online, get the payment first before you send the item.

→ Use a reputable payment source, such as PayPal, for secure and traceable transactions.
