Students should notify of positive COVID tests

Feb. 2, 2022

Students who have tested positive with COVID-19 in the last 90 days should notify the college by Feb. 4 by calling Public Safety, 309-794-7711

Some students may have tested positive for COVID-19 over winter break or during January when they weren't on campus but did not communicate these results to the college.

To continue adhering to public health guidance and to carry out the college's mitigation efforts, students are required to notify Augustana of a recent positive result.

Failure to notify the college of a previous positive test result may lead to mitigations such as quarantine as a close contact or weekly surveillance testing.

(Students who already have spoken with a member of the college contact tracing team do not need to do anything further.)
