Nov. 5: 'Supporting Children & Families' presentation

On Thursday, Nov. 5, at 7 pm., in Wallenberg Hall, Dr. Hilary Cuthrell will present "Supporting Children & Families: An Overview of Parental Incarceration.”

Her talk will share how incarceration affects parents, children and caregivers, and explore approaches that support families during and after incarceration. Drawing on Dr. Cuthrell's work from across the United States, this talk will highlight parent-child connection, reentry and reunification and family-centered practices that strengthen families.

This event, hosted by the department of psychology and neuroscience and the Lewis Stone Lectureship in Psychology, is free and open to the public.
