Art by seven students showing at Figge Art Museum

Seven Augustana students will be featured in the Figge Art Museum's annual College Invitational Jan. 30-June 6.

A virtual opening reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 4. After registering for the reception, guests will receive an email two hours before the program begins, which will include a Zoom link to join the online event.

The museum is at 225 West 2nd St., Davenport. The exhibit will be shown in the Figge's second-floor Katz Gallery.

Art professors from Augustana, Black Hawk College, Clinton Community College, Knox College, Monmouth College, St. Ambrose University, Scott Community College and Western Illinois University selected works from their schools for inclusion.

Rachel Gibson (willow branches)
Lindsey Johnson (graphite on paper)
Hailey Mendell (acrylic on canvas)
Charles Nawara (glazed ceramic)
Rachel Oliver (clothing, unprimed canvas, wire, acrylic paint, cardboard, and found object)
