Campus Pause
Life on campus moves fast - classes, work, and activities can make it hard to pause and recharge. That’s why the Office of Student Life and Campus Ministries are hosting Campus Pause this Friday, Oct. 10, from 1-2 p.m.
During this hour, students, staff, and faculty can explore activities across campus that promote well-being, reflection, and fun!
Activities for the hour include:
- Goat Yoga (Lower Quad): Stretch, relax, and enjoy yoga with friendly goats roaming nearby.
- Coloring (OISSS Lobby): Unplug and get creative with Campus Pause-themed coloring pages.
- Mindful Movement (Lindberg Meditation Room): Gentle Yin Yoga to help calm your mind, focus on your breath, and reset your energy.
- Personal Prayer and Reflection (Ascension Chapel): A quiet, supportive space, welcome to all, for meditation, prayer, or mindful reflection.
- Nap Zzzone + Hot Cocoa (Tredway Library, 2nd Floor): A restful spot to stop, drop, and nap. Dimmed lights, couches, blankets, and a rolling hot cocoa cart.
- Bake Pumpkin Crumb Coffee Cake (Asian Pacific Islander Desi American House: Get hands-on and bake a delicious pumpkin crumb coffee cake, enjoy a sweet treat and community connection.
- Inflatable Obstacle Course (Lower Quad): Challenge yourself or a friend through movement on a fun inflatable course.
- Game Break (Reading/Writing Center): Come enjoy classic board games and puzzles for a fun brain break.
- Muslim Jummah Prayer (Wallenberg): Join MSA's Friday prayer in a supportive, spiritual environment.
- TRIO's Sensory Room (Olin 308): A sensory-friendly space for quiet, relaxation, and self-care.
- Sidewalk Chalk (Viking Plaza): Spread positivity by decorating the plaza with chalk art.
